A homepage design for

Cabin Lore

As part of a yearly design team tradition, every winter the Designzillas team puts out an internal ‘Mock the Halls’ design contest to get the designers excited about the year to come via a friendly design competition. For this year, I designed a home page for a brand named ‘Cabin Lore’, a luxury winter cabin rental company. I designed a logo, chose branding fonts and colors, and designed the home page experience for the brand.

Hi-Fidelity User Interface Designs

After designing a logo and choosing brand colors and fonts, I went to town designing regions to really explain what Cabin Lore’s service offerings were – luxury cabin rental stays in the wintery mountains complete with top-of-the-line excursions and winter sports activities. The banner region featured a booking search feature for both new and returning users that wanted to book right away. High-impact regions were designed to feature imagery and explanations of top cabin rentals, and descriptions of both indoor and outdoor activities. To add more credibility to the new brand’s site, a testimonials region was added as well.
